Will I be charged for chargebacks or refunds?

No. Midtrans does not charge additional fees for the refund or chargeback process. The customer will receive a 100% refund. However, Midtrans fees for transactions that have been successful (Settlement) are still charged to you as a merchant and are deducted during the withdrawal process (payout).

Example:

The Midtrans fee for transactions that have been successful (Settlement) using GoPay is 2% per transaction + VAT (11%).

If the product price is Rp. 100,000 and the customer pays using GoPay, where the Midtrans fee is 2% per transaction = Rp. 2,000, then VAT (11%) is taken from that value, bringing the total cost to Rp. 2,220.

Then the customer will receive a 100% refund with a value of Rp. 100,000. Meanwhile, merchants will be charged a fee of Rp. 2,220 (Midtrans fees for transactions that have been successful (Settlement).
