Activating Payment Methods & Upgrades

Activate additional payment methods, manage your static QRIS, and activate features.

This page will guide you on how to activate new payment methods, features, and managing static QRIS.


Activating New Payment Methods



After you completed your registration and uploaded your docs (see here for more details - ID, EN), you will get a few payment methods as part of your standard activation process. You can activate more payment methods via the +Payment Method page in your dashboard.

To sign up for new payment methods, go to + Payment Method page in Dashboard's Production environment. You can check the docs requirements along with uploading the required docs in this page. If you don't see the payment methods you want to activate within the list, your business entity type might not be eligible to accept it.

To activate a payment method :

  1. Select which payment methods do you want to activate. You can activate multiple payment methods at once, then click the next button.
  2. Depending on the payment methods selected, you might need to upload additional documents. Do so in this step then click next.
  3. Once done, depending on the payment methods selected, you might need to sign an additional addendum. You can choose Direct Signing (a pop up will open for you to sign digitally), or Sign via Email (an email will be sent to the specified email, where then the recipient can open the link in the email to sign digitally). Make sure that the signer is an authorized user (either Business Owners or Authorized Parties as specified in the Akta Perusahaan).
  4. You're all done - it will take different days as specified in the payment method cards to review and activate the payment method. Check back to this page for the latest status - you might also get an email from Midtrans if your application needs correction or if we require additional information.

If you need more time, you can go back and resume or cancel your ongoing / incomplete process - a banner will show up on the top part of this page for you to do so.

Activate features and value added services



To activate non payment method features such as Promo Management, you can go to the +Upgrades page instead. The process and functionality is identical to +Payment Methods page; you can see your active features, pricing details, upload docs and sign addendum in order to activate the feature in this page.
