How much does Midtrans charge for its payment service?

Midtrans’ fee structure is simple, we charge you a fee for every successful transaction. There is no implementation or maintenance fee. For detailed pricing of all payment methods, please see here. All costs do not include value-added tax (VAT).

VAT is taken from the cost value of each payment method, where the example of the simulation is like this:

If the price of the goods is Rp. 100,000 and the customer pays using Bank Transfer where the Midtrans fee is Rp. 4,000, VAT (11%) is taken from this value so that the total cost is Rp. 4,440. You as a merchant get a net value of Rp. 100,000 - Rp. 4,440 = Rp. 95,560 when withdrawing funds (Midtrans automatically deducts fees when merchants withdraw funds).

For payment channels that use the MDR system such as Credit Cards, there is an additional discount on the MDR fee from the total price of goods for each transaction. MDR (Merchant Discount Rate) is a fee calculated in percentage (%) and only applies to certain payment methods. (example: Credit Card MDR is 2.9%)

Midtrans also does not charge additional fees for using the CoreAPI service.

For the fees for the BCA and Indomaret payment methods, there is a collaborative process that needs to be done with BCA and Indomaret to find out the details of the value.
